Health and Peer Relations Study

Lead by Tracy Vaillancourt, PhD and Daphne Korczak, MD, the HPRS examines the health and peer relations of Ontario students.

About the HPRS

Using an accelerated longitudinal population-based study, we aim to monitor Ontario students in Grades 4 to 12 to provide accurate reports to schools and the school boards so that timely evidence-based decisions can be made to help promote health, reduce violence, and improve school climate.

Research

Students are surveyed during class time. The survey only takes than 20 minutes for students in Grade 4 to 6 to complete and 15 minutes for students in Grades 7 to 12 to complete.
